Crenshaw Christian Center
Los Angeles, California
The middle daughter of Dr. Frederick K.C. Price
and Dr. Betty R. Price, Cheryl Anne Price is Executive
Vice President of the Fellowship of Inner-City
Word of Faith Ministries and Crenshaw Christian
Center, Inc. She is a member of FICWFM’s
Executive Committee and Treasurer for the Corporation.
Prior
to and following her high school graduation,
Cheryl began her service and career in her father’s
ministry as a teen, learning the ministry of
excellence from the ground up. Mailroom, bookstore,
tape duplication,
human resources, and administration – you
name it, she’s done it and excelled in
it.
For over 20 years, Cheryl has been the ultimate
right hand to her parents and sister Angela who
is the president and chief operating officer
of Crenshaw Christian Center. As a result, fifteen
years ago, she was also appointed Executive Director
of FICWFM and has remained extremely influential
and instrumental in FICWFM’s growth and
progress.
Like her father, Cheryl is a visionary,
particularly as it pertains to FICWFM. And much
like her contemporaries
with whom she surrounds herself, Cheryl can definitively
be classified as a “cutting edge, out of
the box” thinker. As Executive Vice President
of FICWFM, she monitors and interprets the pulse
of the organization. Her office is the hub of
all FICWFM operations, a key responsibility being
that
of monitoring FICWFM’s strategic plan and
its implementation.
In her role as Treasurer,
Cheryl maintains an extremely watchful, ever
vigilant eye over the
corporate
finances and resources. This is a responsibility
which she takes very seriously. Never one to
be frivolous, she monitors FICWFM’s finances
with great care to ensure that FICWFM practices
excellent stewardship and that FICWFM monies
are expensed as determined by the FICWFM membership
via its Board of Directors.
As Executive Vice
President, Cheryl also serves as chairperson
for all FICWFM Board Committees
and FICWFM’s Area Leadership. Although
requiring considerable time and attention, Cheryl
finds this
function challenging and rewarding in terms of
accomplishing FICWFM’s goals and developing
the organization.
However, Cheryl’s service
doesn’t end
there. While oftentimes representing her parents
at civic functions when they are unavailable,
Cheryl’s
personal activism is well known and highly revered
in business and community circles.
Despite her
deep commitment and dedication to FICWFM and
Crenshaw Christian Center, Cheryl
is an adoring,
dedicated mother to her daughter and son, Nicole
Denise and Allen L. Crabbe, III.
